What happened yesterday?

The mall happened.

 

Among the odds and ends I bought, there’s this lace skirt from Banana.

 

(Btw, I love anything lace – I just go ga-ga anytime I see one.)

 

This is the outfit picture from Banana’s website. Personally I think this outfit looks, quoting Simon Cowell circa American Idol, ghastly. ; )

 

 

 

I remember discussing with a shop assistant outside the fitting room about what will go well with this skirt yesterday. She said: something simple for the top, no frills – the skirt should be the focus of the outfit. Totally in sync with what I think.

 

So in my mind, a simple black/navy tube top with the simplest sandal will do the trick. The leather jacket and the convoluted sandal in the picture are too much for this skirt – they muddle the shine.

unfortuately i will have to return/exchange it. the rims of the under-skirts are all undone. ughhhhh. : (
