脸书上的美国人民看2016大选结果

笔虽秃,理却不秃。

确实不是不是什么“人民的胜利”。

抄几篇脸书的帖子,看看“人”的想法:

#1. I think we just watched America commit suicide. I'm crushed (by U. Thomas)

#2. Embarrassment. I think that’s what I most feel right now. I have to again be embarrassed about living in the United States. Embarrassed to be a white and embarrassed to be male. Embarrassed to share these qualities with the president-elect. Embarrassed to be part of a state, but moreover a country, that finds this acceptable. I am embarrassed about the message to sent to women, to non-whites, and to the world at large. I’m embarrassed that tomorrow I have to make eye contact with my students, half of which are not white. I’m embarrassed that for years I have been teaching classes about the workplace, espousing the importance of reducing racial, ethnic, and gender bias. I am sad, but I am so so so embarrassed right now. (by C. Lake)

#3. I think we all need to reach out to friends this week and offer gestures of support, hugs, lots of hugs, food, drink, and more hugs. Do this in real life or on the phone – not on social media where the hatred that dominated the past few months gestated. Especially reach out to members of groups that were targeted over the past few months, and are suffering fear today. Let them know they are part of a larger community, that we’ll stand together if anyone is targeted with hate, that we won’t be turned against each other or let members of our larger family be harmed. In love, we can find a silver lining on an otherwise very shitty day. (by M. Niman)
