他的嗓音和唱法包括长相，象个痞子 ···却有着磁性的嗓音。来自底特律的Uncle Kracker，自1987年认识Kid Rock于一个DJ比赛会场，因为在音乐的喜好上有着许多相似之处，从R&B、Soul、Hip-Hop、Rap、Country、Blues等多样曲风，都是他俩爱不释手，且广为涉猎的音乐元素，很快的两人便常腻在一起搞音乐。经过十余年的努力，Kid Rock终于在乐坛熬出头，并占有摇滚界一席之地，而多才多艺的Uncle Kracker也在2000年跳脱长久以来合作伙伴乐团Twisted Brown Trucker展开个人音乐事业。于Kid Rock自设厂牌Top Dog旗下发行的「Double Wide」首张专辑，不仅一举冲破双白金纪录，更在超强单曲"Follow Me"的推波助澜下让全球更多乐迷喜爱及认识Uncle Kracker。
