初來人間不知苦，潦草半生一身無。

轉身回望來時路，才知生時為何哭！

The Penniless

Upon arrival, I didn’t know the taste of pain

Till half a life slipped by, without gleaning a grain.

Turning around to peer at the road I travelled,

I ken why, when I came, I cried like pouring rain.
