Jesus is calling you

He knows you are still walking and breathing

But you are already dead within

Like Jesus called Peter to leave his nets

He knows you are busy with your struggle

But you are toward a dead end

Like Jesus called Matthew at his booth

Jesus is calling you

He knows it seems like you are making money

But it will not save your life

Like Jesus called Zacchaeus from the tree

He knows you are somebody in charge and wealthy

But in your heart it is empty

He called

And he has been calling since then

Calling the sinners like you and me

To become saints who will follow Him
