第一次听到这个词，是俺在美国的第一个老板讲的。

他是德二代，当时已经近退休年龄。任生化系的教授，兼任医学院的Research Dean, 还是几个主流专业期刊的责编。每天时间安排特别紧，有二个专职秘书伺侯。

实验室的工作安排和汇报，常常安排在早上六点，或午饭期间，边吃边谈。

老板人也特Nice，有礼貌，总是找一些很中性词语，婉转地评说我们做得不够好或做错了。

一日，在开组会时，突然迸出一词’God Complex’。在场的除了一位美国学生，另外五位分别来自五个其它国家。大家面面相觑，不得其解。老板叹了口气，说不应该把负面情绪带回来。

原来，老板刚刚与医生们开会沟通科研项目进展，医生们各执已见，不欢而散。可是，如果不能及时上报进展，几个大的Funding可能被中止，真是头疼啊。

会后老板又到系里开会去了，那位美国同学讲得口干舌燥，我们几个老外还是一头雾水。英汉字典也没查到这个词。近三十年前的网络么，还在蓝精灵时代（一个个蓝色字母蹦着出来）。

几个月过去，一日，那美国同学激动地对我们说：去看那个新出的电影，里面讲了God Complex。情景之中，你们一定能搞懂。

于是，下班后一起去了电影院。影片相当精彩，其中的一个经典片段至今记忆犹新：
