Today, the technology stocks tumbled across the board, with 6% drop for some tech companies, and tech funds dropped 1.2% overall, however, the broader S&P500 only fell 0.3%, even when the tech sector in the SP500 index, 59 out of 73 stocks went down - this is a good example showing the beauty of investing in a well-diversified index fund, it lowers the downside risk especially in jittery time like this.
