- From an ordinary and good day to such a tragic day

Monday, April 15, 2013.

It was an ordinary day, a busy day. Yet, it was an all-good day to me until 45 minutes ago when I left work, started driving and heard the news that, two bombs exploded near the finishing line of the Boston Marathon at about 3p.m. Eastern time of this afternoon!

So far, 61 people have been counted as been hurt from the explosions, including two are dead, 15 people are in critical conditions, and the rest are injured in various part of head and body at various levels. The age of the victims starts from as young as only 3 year-old and up to 63 year-old! One of the two fatalities is a little kid(*)! From another news radio channel, I also learned that people participated or watched this marathon game came from as many as 75 countries. It was not only a local event but an international one.

While this terrible incident has been identified as a terrorist action so far, preliminarily, the authority including IBM has not been able to tell who did it and why did it. Of cause, it needs time, resources, and great efforts to do so.

It is so unbelievable that, an original ordinary and good day turns out to be such a horrible day!

It is horrible to the victims, their families, friends, communities, our country and people from other 74 countries!!! I cannot imagine how many people are crying and suffering right now for the loss they encountered today, all of the sudden! My heart goes to them, mourn with them, and pray for them, too.

While I am still in shock and don't understand who and why made such human-less thing to people whom are innocent, one thing I feel a little comfort, at least, after hearing President Obama's speech. He declared and vowed in his speech, which was given an hour ago, Washington will let whoever responses to this bombing event, whether an individual or a group, feel a full weight of justice! I hope this day will come soon.
