I got a reply from listing agent in CA "The home is zoned R1 but currently set up as a duplex with 2 full kitchens. There may be a garage conversion with no permits, can not verify with the county. Please talk with your lender to see if this is an lender/appraisal issue." Can somebody knows about the relation between no permit with the lender/appraisal explain some? I don't want send an appraisal and then found out they won't be suitable for lending.
