Fading memories of mine,
along years of time gone by,
And yet, for reasons unknown
that it's hard to forget the moment we met,
and said to each other:
"so long, my friend, and goodbye."

Had traveled the land
and crossed the sea,
A young man was venturous
as one could ever be.
Yet, in this town the familiar songs and golden oldies
turned anew and somewhat strange.

Well,
in the mid-winter of that year,
The day was bitter
as cold as it used to be...
A greeting was warm
at the door of thee,
"Welcome to my house",
"Thank you". We then had hot tea!

Impressive!
It was the accent of yours,
Reminded me the old song
I heard before in the "Cheers".
Or at the center of Cambridge,
"Yankees are in town, game Six!"

Let's pick up a few New England' leaves,
because the foliage is its best in the fall;
Keep these colorful nature between the pages of your novel,
For later
We will be back to read them all.
