晚饭后无事，HOB正放dead poets society。嘉宝说：妈妈这个电影很好，你应该看看。打开一看，robin William 年轻真帅，眼睛为之一亮。电影反映的是子女教育问题。影片中的虎爸硬是要把儿子送入Harvard，想要他成为医生，最后把儿子逼上了死路。电影的另一条线索是一个老师帮学生去找到自我。
电影的主题思想和我的很是一致。我从没把女儿推进藤校当着做母亲的心愿。如果她要进藤校，也是她自己的心愿，而不是我的。我只想给女儿提供机会让她从不同的角度去看这个世界，帮女儿找到她自己，让她学会自己思考。
女儿从小学过的东西不记其数，游历的地方也不胜其数，她虽能没有获得这个奖那个奖，当能我也没有特意让她去参加这个比赛那个比赛，但她对很多问题的看法，我这个做妈的也自叹不如。有时经她一说，茅塞顿开。我鼓励她去设立high expectation. shooting for the star. 做为妈妈的我只想尽我的能力把这个世界展现给她在他的眼前，让她去观察，去发现，去探索。我希望她成为一个幸福而充实的人。做自己喜欢的事情并尽力做好，名利是次要的。
