玉阶生白露，              White dew grow denser on jewel stairs,
夜久侵罗袜。              night has long soaked through silk stockings.
却下水晶帘，              Back to her room, she lowers the crystal blinds,
玲珑望秋月。              but eyes are still fixed on the exquisite autumn moon.
