Mrs. Smith is Jing’s group leader in purchasing department. She is telling Jing what work she has to do this morning. Mrs. Smith is in a bad mood.

Mrs. Smith: I want you to return these ¼” ball valves to vendor and purchase 3/8” ball valves instead .

Jing: I am sorry, I don’t understand. Could you please explain?

Mrs. Smith: Listen, Jing. I don’t have time to repeat everything for you ten times. I have my own work to do.

Jing: I know you are busy, Mrs. Smith, but I don’t understand what you want me to do.

Mrs. Smith: Okay. I want the ¼” ball valves returned and 3/8” ball valves ordered.

Jing: Just return ¼” ball valves to vendor, right?

Mrs. Smith: Right.

Jing: Thanks, Mrs. Smith. I know what to do now.
