It never goes as plan
but wilder in the autumn wildness
White tails are never meant to be chased
but to appreciate from closeup
Geese are never meant to be cheered
but to listen to their songs
Eagles or cranes might occasionally fly by
to remind one it is as wild as it could get
Tip-toed around the frosted grass
walking around the lake
with reflections of trees mirrored downward
as long as it is far from cities
this would be a good place for us to meet
to cherish with red leaves and blue sky
There are simply not enough perfect days like today
wish you were here with me
to indulge in the wildness all by itself |
