Piano Quartet No. 3 in C Minor

The Piano Quartet in C minor, opus 60, by Johannes Brahms is scored for piano, violin, viola and cello.

The quartet is in four movements:

I. Allegro Non Troppo

II. Scherzo Allegro

III. Andante

IV. Finale Allegro Comodo






The Piano Quartet No. 3 in C minor, Op. 60, is written by Johannes Brahms. Brahms spent at least twenty years completing this work. It was begun as early as 1855 and was not completed until 20 years later, when it was published as Op. 60.
