感恩节除了烤火鸡外,还作了烤红薯、烤小青南瓜(acorn squash)、四季豆(string beans)、土豆泥(mashed potatoes)等美国传统菜肴。喜欢自己动手做土豆泥,更加新鲜、健康。现分享食谱如下:
Mashed Potatoes 土豆泥 Ingredients 用料:
1.5lb. potatoes 1.5 镑土豆 1 tablespoon sea salt 一桌匙海盐 1 cup milk 一杯牛奶 3 cloves garlic, crushed 三瓣蒜,切碎 3 ounces Parmesan cheese 三盎司parmesan干奶酪 1 tablespoon butter 一桌匙牛油
Directions 做法: 1. Peel and dice potatoes, making sure they are relatively the same size 土豆削皮、切块,尽量切成大小相同的块状 2. Place in a saucepan, add the salt, and cover with water 放入锅里,加盐,加水,水浸过土豆 3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil 中火将水煮开,将火调小,继续滚水 4. Cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork 煮到土豆用叉子一捣即碎 5. Heat the milk and the garlic in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and set aside 中火将牛奶与碎蒜在锅里煮至热煨,关火放一边 6. Remove the potatoes from the heat and drain off the water. Mash and add the garlic-cream mixture and Parmesan; stir to combine 关火,将土豆沥水,捣碎成泥,加入蒜奶,干奶酪,牛油;搅拌 7. Let stand for 5 minutes so that the mixture thickens and then serve 冷却5分钟,让土豆泥略浓些再享用
