DJ Saudi Crude Vols To US Relatively Unch On Mo-Traders-2
Market observers are watching for an indication that Saudi Arabia, as the leading member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, would implement OPEC's December decision to cut 500,000 barrels a day of additional supply.
Warmer-than-expected winter weather, healthy stock levels and poor discipline within OPEC members to implement its October 1.2 million barrel-a-day quota cuts have contributed to a plunge in crude prices to 19-month lows, although a dispute between Russia and Belarus have helped to rein in the fall.
Earlier this week, OPEC ministers called for more discipline within the cartel's ranks.
