The predominantly carbohydrate lunch or dinner - Thick or thin soup - Any vegetables - baked beans - Macaroni or spghetti - Any vegetable or fruit sald - Any sweet or starchy dessert - Milk or coffee or tea with sugar, but no cream - A low-fat ice cream or ice is permissible - A cocktail, highball, wine, or beer is quite permissible, if desired.
