Song: She's Like the Wind Artist: Patrick Swayze
She's like the wind through my tree She rides the night next to me She leads me through moonlight Only to burn me with the sun She's taken my heart But she doesn't know what she's done
Feel her breath on my face Her body close to me Can't look in her eyes She's out of my league Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs She's like the wind [SOLO] I look in the mirror and all I see Is a young old man with only a dream Am I just fooling myself That she'll stop the pain Living without her I'd go insane Feel her breath on my face Her body close to me Can't look in her eyes She's out of my league Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs She's like the wind Feel your breath on my face Your body close to me Can't look in your eyes You're out of my league Just a fool to believe (Just a fool to believe) She's like the wind (Just a fool to believe) Just a fool to believe (She's like the wind) Just a fool to believe (Just a fool to believe) She's like the wind (Just a fool to believe) Just a fool to believe She's like the wind (Just a fool...) (She's like the wind) (She's like the wind) (Just a fool...)

She's Like the Wind From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "She's Like the Wind" was a 1987 hit pop/rock song performed by actor Patrick Swayze featuring Wendy Fraser. It was not, however, used in that film. During production of "Dirty Dancing" in 1986, Swayze played the demo for the producers and director. They loved it, and passed it on to Jimmy Ienner, the executive producer of the soundtrack. It was recorded for the soundtrack in November of 1986, with Michael Lloyd producing. The song, like the film in which it was featured, was a success, reaching #3 on Billboard Hot 100, #1 on Adult Contemporary, and was a hit around the world. It is still in circulation on radio. The soundtrack album was #1 for nineteen weeks. Music video The music video in black and white features clips from the movie Dirty Dancing and overlaid images of Patrick Swayze and Wendy Fraser. The video can be seen on the Ultimate Dirty Dancing DVD.
Covers The song was later covered by Vibekingz featuring Maliq, Phonekillaz, and Patrick Nuo, and in 2007 by Lumidee featuring Tony Sunshine.
The Vibekingz version reached #2 on Germany's pop charts in 2006, and stayed in the top ten for two months. The version by Lumidee received widespread airplay in the United States, reaching the top 20. Tony Sunshine sings the original part by Swayze, while Lumidee raps with original verses related to the theme of the song. David Hasselhoff also covered "She's Like The Wind", releasing it in his greatest hits album after a successful spell in Germany. A mashup song and video of "She's Like The Wind" with "Minimal" by Pet Shop Boys has been a featured video on YouTube.
