我是在图书馆那学会这绕口令，很有趣也很容易。它大部分的内容都是重复的，所以宝宝很快就熟悉了那节奏。
我本想借这绕口令教宝宝数1到5，可她对数目还没什么反应。她爱听我不停的说，有时她还跟着做动作。
Five little monkeys jumping on the bed
我伸出五根手指和做跳的动作；宝宝伸直食指和手，不停的上下挥动。
One fell off and bumped his head
我指着地上和安住头；宝宝就用双手安住额头。
So Momma called the doctor and the doctor said
我就做打电话的手势；宝宝却没动作，可能是手还没那么灵活。
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
大力的摆动手；宝宝也跟着做。
宝宝是高兴的时候才跟着做，很多时候她就只爱听。现在更是发展到她大小姐一想到就要听的地步。有时吃着饭，她就会伸出食指，手臂伸得直直的上下挥动，嘴里“yi ah, yi ah”的说。
我有时逗她就假装不明白，她就会换另一个手，有时急了就两个手一起来。而最可恶的是，我一开始念，她就满意的停手，然后继续忙之前的事，完全把我当back ground sound。如我停下来，宝宝的手立刻挥动，再次的把妈妈牌点唱机启动。
我带她到公园去透透风，她竟然也念念不忘，要我不停的念，她满意的安着头来回走。如有谁在公园看见一个宝宝好象指挥家的不停挥动手，而妈妈也不停的念 5 little monkeys，不用猜，那一定是我和宝宝。
