Dear All,
Please note we are going to attend the GBAS mixed team competition against other clubs this Sunday. And your encouragements and presence is much appreciated for cheering up our best players.
Time: 8:30am for players, from 9am for others, Sunday, 30 Sept
Venue: Ryde Aquatic Centre, corner of Victoria Rd & Weaver St. Ryde
Format: round-robin games between clubs, each round will be consisted of 1 men\'s double, 1 ladies\' double, and 2 mixed doubles.
After consulting with the organizers, the six people I selected out of a group of our top players are:
Male players:
J. Shi, no doubt, our best player
A. Zhang, great defender, smart partner in either male\'s double and mixed pair.
R. Li, a killer in his cool appearance, Hao Zhang strongly recommended Roman as his replacement.
Backup: W. Lu, H. Zhang, L. Fang
Female players:
R. Li, our seasoned all position player, although bit of picky in selecting partner in game
J. Chen., fast and artful, energetic fighter
D. Fan, calm and skilled striker
Backup: N/A, what a pity! C\'mon, girls, practice harder and hopefully I can enlist you next time!
Players please bring extra rackets just in case. Energy bars and sports drinks will be provided.
The competition starts from 9am, check-in happens at 8:40am at Ryde Aquatic Centre, on the day of 30th Sept. So, for players presenting our club please be there before 8:30am.
We are in division 4 for D & D1 players. There will be a great chance we can bring back the trophy!
Our club members are welcome to join L. Liu in cheer team, she will be our cheer leader and she promised she will wear mini skirt to cheer up our players and distract our opponents :DDDDD
