1837年9月18，Charles Lewis Tiffany和John B.Young 在纽约百老汇大街259车创建了Tiffany & Young ，一家专营文具和时尚商品的精品店。1886年，Tiffany 独创了闻名于世的“Tiffany Setting”。这枚6爪镶嵌单颗钻石订婚戒指，将钻石高高托起在指明环之上，令它放射出从未有过的光芒，举世瞩目。
