The rate stays the same as yesterday. But it seems like the rate will change its course starting tomorrow. (It will go up gradually for a couple of days or weeks).
The conforming rate was as low as 6% for 30 yr fixed for no closing cost. I believe that's the short term bottom. It may be lower after Sep FOMC meeting. But who knows?
The Jumbo 5/1ARM rate stays around 6.375% to 6.5% (with no closing cost)for quite some time. The lender's guideline is getting tougher now. So typically this rate is good for those have DTI lower than 38%.
