　 　陆判神仙一向掌握凡间的生与死，某一晚，朱尔旦被王员外要胁到山神庙搬陆判之神像。朱一向瞻小如鼠，唯有硬着头皮捧走神像，更不慎跌碎陆判像之生死册， 于是陆判惩罚王员外，还叮嘱朱把生死册修补。陆判为了报答朱修好生死册，使朱变成才子外还有天赋异品，连妻子也脱胎换骨。此後，朱尔旦之命运就被改变……
