Hello Zi

It was good to read your letter. Sometimes the tone is more important than the content, and so I thought I could sense an "uplifting" tone in your letter. It seems you are more contented, less restless and so more at ease than before. Great.

If things are going well, it is better not to comment or interfere. If one can keep one's perceptions fresh, what more does one want. Just one or two things that occured to me. It's important that realizations are not just intellectual. If they don't change the way you live your life, they are just thoughts, clouds of the mind. The old difference between wisdom and knowledge (in which wisdom is knowledge you get from your own insight and experience).
The difficult one you mentioned is hopes and reality. It is difficult to live without or even with minimal wishes. We constantly have hopes or expectations, we cannot avoid them, and because of that we constantly get frustrated. Nothing wrong with that, as long as we can place it. Some direction is needed, a good reason to get out of bed in the morning, as it were.
Hm, maybe I'm not expressing myself clearly here. Doesn't matter. I'm happy you're doing well.

I noticed that you didn't report anything on you studies. How has that evolved? In what stage are you now? Tell me about any future plans, if there are any yet?

How is Edinburgh this time of the year. You are probably having your share of rain just as in Belgium. One thing we share too.

Talk to you later.

Peter
