Forever, how long is forever?
Research has shown that the human mind only lives in 5 second intervals. All that happens before are memories and all that happens later is the future. In these 5 seconds we analyse the past and plan for the future. So how then can a human being know what forever is?

Forever is the existence of some truth that lasts as time goes to infiinity.

Many people have tried to make things last forever. They have tried to make changes forever, live forever and love forever.

Peter the Great, the Tsar of Russia, tried to change the Russian people from a rural, village living folk to independent, educated and sophisticated individuals that resembled the educated class in western Europe. For the most part he succeeded.

There was one thing that Peter did that challenged the views of all Russians. On his death bed he wanted the Russians to call him Emperor. How will the Russians change the name of the Tsar? A title that has ruled them for hundreds of years, to something so foreign as an Emperor?
Many leaders have shown this desire to live forever, including many Romans.

When Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal for his beloved wife Mumtaz... was he trying to say that he loves her forever? From the clues that he has left us the answer to this question is yes.

The pattern that can be seen, for the desire for forever, is liberation. Once a liberation has occurred, a human being wants it to last forever. A change in the attitude of a people, a successful reign of an emperor, and love so strong and deep that life cannot be lived without it. All are examples of some type of liberation. Liberations in itself means.. a change forever.

So what does forever mean to the restricted mind?
A long time without change. Agony. Hell.

What does forever mean to the liberated mind?
Everything. Time well spent, with constant change.
