What Is Love?

(2007-11-29 21:15:31) 下一个

Today, a friend forwarded me the following article she saw on 虔谦’s blog about “What’s Love” to 4-8 year’s olds which I liked a lot. Those statements are so cute and touching and I am really impressed by what some of these young kids have to say about love, even from the four-year-old. They sound like they are philosophersJ! I thought it would be nice / interesting to share it with my little ones to see how they think about love.

So after dinner, I gathered everyone including Daddy around the table and read the article to them. Well, Evan was too obsessed with the remote controlled car I got him from China to pay much attention but Olivia really enjoyed it. She would nod her head when she agreed and laugh hysterically at some of the funny ones (especially Karl’s). Daddy burst into laughter when he heard Lauren’s.

When asked about what love is to her, Olivia thought for a couple of seconds and said: “When one of your family members take you to Chuck E. Cheese’s and give you the best food – pizza!”

When asked about the same question, Evan who just came out of the bathroom said: “Daddy wipes my bottom!” and guess what? That is loveJ!
