'My Heart is Broken'

A couple of weeks ago, we had a play date with Anna and Andrew. After they played for a while at the playground and had a lunch at a pizza restaurant, we went to the movie theater which was across the street of Chuck E. Cheese's and bought the tickets for the "Barn Yard".

Since we still had an hour and a half to kill before the movie, I decided to take advantage of it and do some really needed school clothes shopping for Olivia.

However, the kiddos had a different idea – they both wanted to go to play in Chuck E. Cheese's across the street.

Since it was a great opportunity to have the much needed shopping done, despite of their whining, I insisted that I would take them to Chunk E. Cheese's at another time, which obviously wasn't what they wanted to hear.

As we drove away, Olivia said to me in the back seat: "Mom, I want to go to the Chunk E. Cheese's so bad that my heart is broken."

Realizing how exaggerative what she had just said, she couldn't help but laugh out loud herself.
