She was struck down with an illness over the festive period.
But Katherine Jenkins seemed to be fully recovered from her dreadful Christmas cold as she wowed during a performance at the Visit Britain Country launch in New York on Thursday night.
The soprano was on hand to fly the flag at the event but as ever, she drew attention for her impeccable style as well as her flawless vocals.
The 34-year-old looked stunning in an ink and red folded polka dot dress by Stella McCartney, which featured a deconstructed and placed print.
She showed a hint of leg thanks to the small side split while she added height to the look with nude stiletto heels.
She wore her honeycombs locks in loose curls and sported glamorous make-up as she drew attention to her eyes with false lashes.

Katherine was invited to perform at the event on Varick Street singing a song written for the campaign titled Home.
The singer will be going into 2015 a married woman, having squeezed in a wedding to her beau Andrew Levitas in between all her hard work.
The blonde beauty, previously engaged for 10 months to TV presenter Gethin Jones, walked down the aisle on the same day as George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's nuptials in the summer.
Now happily married and throwing herself into her work, the star committed to a candid television documentary in which she admitted that she never understood why Gethin called off their engagement.
Speaking on the BBC1 Wales show, she said: 'At the end of 2011, when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that, about two weeks later, I had to go on a UK tour.
'Every night I'm singing songs of heartbreak and every day just trying to find the energy to cope - let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it.
'Meanwhile, everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition - I wanted to take over the world. It was so far from the truth.'
