康州的 Community Table (餐馆）

7月5日过完国庆后，到康州小住了两天。参观了著名的 The Philip Johnson Glass House ( 玻璃房).（在康州的New Canaan。website: http://philipjohnsonglasshouse.org/). 还顺道看了一个画廊。晚上在Litchfield 的 Community Table （CT）晚宴。 我是吃货，咱先说说吃的，填饱肚子再聊精神食量。

CT的餐牌，每天都换的，根据当天能采购到的新鲜食品定菜单。

CT的大餐桌。之所以叫Community table，就是拼桌吃饭。这在中餐馆不新鲜，但到了洋人那儿倒变成他们的特色创意了，真会偷点子！

上菜！

1。 potato gnocchi, squash blossoms, zephyr squash, roasted tomato, leeks, garlic confit, fennel

2。mussels, green coconut curry broth, snap peas, mint, basil

3。duck confit, smashed strawberries, basil, fennel puree

4。farm lettuces, radishes, cucumbers, shaved heirloom carrots, kohlrabi, white wen vinaigrette

主菜：

1。pasture raised chicken, quinoa tabour, patty pan squash, cucumber, feta cheese, grilled frisee, cured olives, lime yogurt, charmoula

2。hake, warm bean salard, haricot vert, peas, asparagus, arugula, fava beans, sea beans, lemon butter sauce

3。slow smoked heritage pig, roasted vegetables, broccoli, pork jus, rhubarb mostarda, gooseberries （真是入口即化啊）

4。Organic duck breast, beet puree, grilled fennel, roasted beets, beet greens, blueberries, duck jus

甜点

1。black raspberry thyme souffle

2。aised bed, chocolate sucre, bitter sweet chocolate mousse, chocolate mud, fennel ice cream, wild flowers

巧克力吃完了，只剩下野花了。

吃饱喝足，走出餐馆，哇，劳来斯车来接我们啦！哈哈！

明天继续上菜 －－ 玻璃房和画廊，经济基础打好了，要建设上层建筑了。
