President of the senior class

Two weeks before election day, he told us that he signed up to run for the prrsident of his senior class.  The rumor was that he might run without being contested. On the eve of election day, a contender showed up, a well-prepared contender with written speech and posters. It forced him to prepare a few posters on the spot.  He won! And he aknowledged that his opponent did a wonderful job.
