Why not A New E-C Dictionary? Why Oxford?

New E-C Dic. is a valuable tool book, unquestionably, but it exists some short coming.
Oxford Dic. is designed for learner, New E-C is more for reference.
By translating to Chinese, New E-C cut off some relation between the word and its definition; while Oxford has E-E Channel.
New E-C dic. did not pay enough attention to absorb the word source from Chinese-English dictionary, many Chinese words found no corresponding entries in New E-C.
New E-C is lengthy with no discretion sometimes,we may that 10% of its content could be eliminated.
