Haha, Monday night, I will stand in front of the zoning board, not for, but possibly motion to against a nearby commercial expansion..
Meijer's, a regional super store chain, plan to build a super Meijer's near a highway intersection, we own 2 parcels near by one of their purposed entrance, both commercial and residential, haha, so far I do not like their traffic study, so I am ready to state my case, and voice my concerns.
The Meijer's expansion will no doubt double the real estate value near by, but will also draw much more commercial traffics thru the area, but their traffic study only recommended some minor change to traffic flow as now, and I want them to spend the money to upgrade the intersection.
I had meet the Meijer's project manager last week, but their answer so far not satisfy me, so, I will voice my concern before the zoning board, haha, since I know 2 out of the 6 board members, maybe Meijer will reconsider...
haha, anyway, win or lose, I really don't care, because with potentially double the real estate value on my parcels, I am happy either way, but with a better street and better traffic flow, it may still farther increase the real estate value for all near by properties..
haha, of course, if they offer to buy my properties out, that is even better, haha, just dreaming..
