Dear Sir or Madam,

This is to comment on ABC\'s program Four Corners broadcast on 14 July 2008, which is a documentary about Tibet.

In the documentary, such statement like During China\'s 40 years of occupation seems to suggest that Tibet is an independent country that is occupied by China, but not an integral part of China. I am sure this is not the view of the majority of Chinese people, at home and overseas. It is also not in line with the position of Australian government, and most other governments in the world.

The documentary also discussed issues like birth control. While we all know birth control is a national policy which applies to all Chinese citizens, the documentary seems try to give viewers impression that this policy specifically target Tibetan people.

While the interviewer pretend he is being brave by sneaking into Tibet, millions of foreign and Chinese tourists visiting Tibet every year. It is also hard to believe it is so dangerous for an ordinary Chinese looking person to take a few videos and photos on Lasha\'s streets

Claiming to be Australia\'s premier television investigative journalism program, Four Corners\' reporting is far from being unbiased and truthful. I express my disappointment.

Kind regards,
