Friendly Fires: 当年几位来自伦敦西北郊St Albande的在校中学生， 一起组织乐队演唱，那时他们才14岁，现在已经是英国人气上升的乐队，甚至被欧美音乐杂志称为：“ 这个星球上最令人兴奋的乐队 ”， 他们在中国都有粉丝。

第一次听他们的的歌是他们那首：Kiss of Life 生命之吻， 歌和MTV都很美。 英国的中学生动不动3， 5几个组乐队是常有的事，学校也很鼓励，甚至还出钱从外面请老师教教流行乐队的学生们运气发声

St Alban是一个很美伦敦北郊的小镇，去过那， 那有一古老的大教堂Cathedral of St Alban ，更吸引人的是那附近有一个比较出名的玫瑰园：Garden of Rose, 去过， 那附近还有一些农场，可以去那摘草莓，摘豆角，是夏日周末的好去处，谁说St Alban荒野无人？好像著名作家萧伯纳在St Alban还有个小屋纪念馆什么的

关于乐队的诞生地，英国的圣奥尔本斯有这么几条信息： 1972 年这里发动了争取散装啤酒运动；是英国皇家玫瑰协会的基地；这里还拍摄过一些关于督察莫尔斯的电影。换句话说，这里是一个广阔无人的郊外。对出生在这里的 Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson 和 Jack Savidge 来说，除了组建乐队没有太多别的选择。

虽然乐队诞生在一个比较无聊地区，如今乐队却成了全国最令人兴奋的新生乐队之一。他们是最早在第四频道 “ 传输秀 ” 节目中现身的签约乐队。第一广播电台的 DJ Zane Lowe, Colin Murray and Rob Da Bank 是他们的歌迷。 FRIENDLY FIRES 现在已经签到 XL 旗下，跟 Radiohead ， labelmates 、 white Stripes 是同门师兄弟。
