在美国开车十几年从没有过违章记录的我常常为自己感到自豪，要知道我所有的朋友都有被开罚单的经历，而我是唯一一个清白的人。
神话破灭在09年的万圣节，那是个星期六，路上充斥着奇装异服、驱车赶赴聚会的年轻人，小朋友们也都穿上了各种妖魔鬼怪或天使的衣服，挨家挨户去敲门讨糖，乐此不疲，我个人并不喜欢这个为魔鬼预备的节日，所以也就平淡处之。话说正在家里悠哉游哉的研究厨艺，忽然接到学校的急电：有事需要我紧急处理，一把抓起车钥匙忙不迭地出了门。
心里着急脚上也跟着使劲儿，恨不得一脚油门儿就到现场，刚开过消防局就觉得有点不对劲，反光镜里一辆白色的警车不急不徐地跟在后面，仔细看看蓝色的警灯也一闪一闪的，开车多年从没被罚的我信心十足，他没鸣笛肯定不是追我，再说大过节的，谁会跟谁过不去啊？心里想着脚底下还是不由得松了一下。
拐了两个弯儿进了学校的大门，看看警车还跟在我后面，再看看窗外好多行人都用同情的眼光看着我，心里咯噔一下，心一横，管它三七二十一，先开进停车场再说！驶进教学楼门前的停车场，我停在当中摇下了车窗：
“请问你是跟着我吗？”我冲着后面也停下的警车喊道，
“对。”车窗落下，一个着制服戴墨镜的褐色的小平头伸了出来。
“好吧，我先泊车可以吗？”
“没问题。”
我这个人有个特点，越经大事越镇定，不慌不忙停好车，坐在里面等他过来，同时手里准备好了驾照、汽车保险及所有的相关手续，有印象好像当警察检查的时候要留在车里。
“怎么，有什么问题吗？”我对走到近前、全副武装的警察问道，顺手递上了我的文件。
“嗯，你在经过马里兰大街时时速41英里，那里的限速为25英里。”他低头翻看着。
“真的？”我心里一惊，我当然知道那里是25英里，没想到我竟开得那么快！
“你在这工作？”他看了看我的停车证，“怎么开这么快呀？”我简单把情况跟他解释了一下。
“你稍等一下，我这就回来。”说罢他转身上了警车，没听他的，我也打开车门跟了过去。
警官通过步话机向总部核实了我的资料，而后低头熟练的开了一张罚单，接下来还给我解释了一番，大概是你可以在某年某月某日出庭为自己辩护或者直接打罚单上的电话缴纳罚款，我连连点头，但愿赶快了结此事，临了临了，他扔下一句话：“万圣节快乐！”，哈，这回我可快乐大了去啦！
到底采取哪种方式，先生的意见是就算到了法庭也不会赦免超速的，还得交法庭费，不如直接交罚款了事，所以打电话给交通法庭，告知案件的号码，给了对方信用卡号，根据弗吉尼亚的法律，总共罚款141美元。罚款事小、教训事大，因为多年的开车经验，我就艺高人胆大，平常总喜欢开快车、跟人飙车，想想真是惭愧又后怕，这纯属是拿自己和他人的生命安全当儿戏，是一种不负责任的行为，这次的教训给我敲响了警钟，现在开车都是二百分的小心，尤其是路过消防局或是后面有白车尾随的时候......

我所有的SPEEDING TICKET 都是在刚拿到驾照那年取得的， 而且是在一个月内喔。 一个月内5张， 其中有4张不是被本州警察抓， 都是STATE TROOPER。 STATE TROOPER制服特难看， 可是开单却灰常潇洒； 每次都是上百刀， 娘的。
威州的最先进， 还可以让你当场刷卡解决。 宾州的呢遇到个菜鸟TROOPER， 我骗他说要赶着去见GF， 他居然没给我开单就放我走了（还乐了一阵呢， 后来单寄到家气的我直跳脚）。 北卡的STATE POLICE很喜欢搞埋伏， 还有直升机巡逻， 开去佛罗里达路过这段累的半死（又要提防埋伏， 还要注意后方天空是否有飞机在跟着。。。。）。 佛罗里达的警察很搞笑， 都是两队人马； 一对负责测速， 一队在前面待命堵截（没被逮到， 不过害了好多跟风的。 我尿急停到路旁解了个手， 再回到路上还没开始SPEED UP就看到4－5部刚还在我屁股后门吃土的被逮了， 冷汗直冒啊～ 呼呼）。
基本上咱当时是菜鸟， 所以对警察不怎么感冒（只要不是跟在后面的， 在高速上无视对面方向来的警车； 因为MPH都是在百以上， 等他掉过头来我都不知道跑多远了呢）。
在此忠告各位： 一般房车千万表飙到140以上， 会飘！ 真的会飘！一粒小石子都可能让你飘到外太空去！

哈哈，这就叫年轻气盛啊！一个月5张，没让你上学习班？保险涨停了吧？

学习班？ 要让我上学习班我还要开PARTY庆祝呢！ 直接SUSPEND 6个月！ 说保险倒是让我蛮欣慰的； 因为大部分罚单都是外州的， 所以对于在本州奉公守法的我（一张轻微超速罚单， 而且是认罪态度非常好； 1张警告， 那位警察叔叔是餐馆的熟客。）就稍微惩罚了一下（俺那时的GPA还都是A， 可以拿到优惠价喔）。
忘了说纽约的警察了， 很黑很无聊。 在塞车的时候在桥头的地方检查安全带。。。。对于习惯不扣安全带的俺简直就是毁灭性打击， 一次开了3张单给我： 无驾照， 无保险， 无安全带外加还要上庭。

美国的各种商店里，都公开卖各式反测速仪。挺贵的，一个要三四百。有意思的是产品还附有保险赔偿，基本上如果你在超速20%或者15英里以内被警察逮住了，法官罚你多少，公司赔你多少。我听说有人买了一个不好使，被抓了几回，一气之下把产品公司告上了法院，公司也不含糊，调查发现是警察改变了测速频率，于是又将警察告上了法院，后来听说法院裁定警察违法，那小子不用付钱。
在美国，警车平时上路并不开灯，只有抓人的时候才亮灯鸣笛。停住车，不能随便走下来，必须坐在驾驶座上，双手放在方向盘上面，等他走近，问你要驾照、保险，你拿出给他，还不能动，只能坐在车里等着，他回到警车上，通过电脑查车辆号码是否是报失车辆，查驾照身份是否真实，保险是否过期，一切OK了，再开罚单，走过来，把所有东西给你，你才可以走，没有半个小时45分钟下不来。我记得有次被抓，等了半天，开车门想下来透透气，那个警察立刻用扩音器要我回到座位上去。
其实，这些都是因为警察怕自己被袭击，因为美国有携枪的自由，没人知道你是不是要行凶袭警。所以，双手必须时刻让警察看到，你要想跟在国内那样拍肩搭背表示亲热，他早把你撂翻在地，铐上铐子了。我知道前阵子纽约就有一个中国老头违章被抓，因为言语不通，又有这个套近乎的习惯，被警察当场打成重伤，沸沸扬扬闹了好一阵子。另外，美国的车也不像国内可以用窗帘或者颜色很深的太阳膜——必须让警察一目了然你车里坐了多少人。
不过，通常抄你牌前，警察都会问问你开快车的原因，如果确实情有可原，也会放你一马，我有个同事，带孩子坐车被抓，她就很机智地说孩子要急着上厕所，憋坏了。警察听见，很宽容地笑笑，说这次我给你警告，前面一英里就有个油站，不过不要再开快了。）

全中！ 呵呵~~~~ 姜果然是老的辣！不过咱还是有自知之明滴， 跟警察叔叔过不去=活腻了（那时还没GF呐， 要留点儿后路撒）。
有一次从IL开去OH， 州公路限速45， 咱以95的巡航速度飘着（风和日丽， 车又少， 没理由慢慢爬吧？）。 GPS显示前方都是直线， 就继续踩油门咯。 该死的GPS， 直路是直路， 可路面是呈波浪状起伏的。。。。。通常开在这种路面上很舒服， 一上一下的好像坐过山车（开的快的话更爽！）。 一上坡就踩油门冲上去， 突然发现大概2-3英里出有辆车迎面开来， 立马就减速下来（老师说的， 开车时候就算你扣了安全带， 迎头撞死的几率也不小。。。怕怕啊~）。 不到一分钟就看到对面的车了， 惨啦， 是有帽子的（警车啦）。 人家没拉灯， 难道今天走运刚好没被看到？ 与警车擦身而过也没啥异常。。。嘿嘿~~~~~~~~真是LUCKY！ 咱还在庆幸着走了狗屎运的档口瞄了一眼后视镜（当时看不到车， 人家在下坡）， 看到一团白烟冒了上来， 死了！ 咱常看警匪片， 知道警车掉头多牛， 乖乖等死吧。。。。刹车趴路边等。。。等了快3分钟才看到闪着灯的警车慢吞吞的开过来停在我后面。 没得说， 那位叔叔态度还真是好！ 先检查驾照保险， 再问你知道为啥截停你（靠！ 是俺守法自个儿等你来抓好不好！）。 知道知道， 我开的有点儿快了嘛。 超多少？ 20吗（胡扯！）？ 大概是没见过中国人， 加上一个人在巡逻无聊， 那位叔叔居然把我叫去坐在他车上聊家常（俺的娘咧~ 啥都说， 还说他家的狗是什么什么。。。。）。 40分钟过去了才给我开张单， 说本来超过20以上会没收驾照及上庭的， 看我表现良好就给我记成19， 还让我以后兜风表乱飘， 好危险滴。。。。。。。。我快饿晕过去了， 一直点头， 嗯嗯嗯， 888888 交钱赶快溜。

有空你们去中部走80号洲际高速， 会发现在OH跟IN之间有段笔直笔直的路， 多直呢？ 就是你一眼望过去可以看到天边的路那头有没有车。 这样的路你要慢慢开。。。简直就是浪费生命！ 油门直接踩到底咯~ 话说。。。警察就算看到你也不敢追。 为啥？
1. 一追你就慌， 你慌起来还不东撞西撞乱咬人？ 造成财产损失谁负责？ 你赔？ 你要装穷还不是要政府买单到时候！
2. 你不要命， 人家可还不想死。
3. 有RADIO的嘛~ 一呼叫你以为你会飞么？ 前面都在那边沏好茶等你喝了。

袋鼠国的车速比美国快好多
正常路段都是60.开40那简直是龟速。
高速都是100，大一点的路就是80.
我也没拿过罚单，因为开的都太慢哈哈

真是奇迹！K-9警察给我开了一张707元的罚单，然后他又收回了！
我是一个长途卡车司机，上周在PA 81号高速边的一个小镇，清晨进一个小镇的食品厂提货回加州。跟着GPS进了一个小镇。结果太信认GPS了开进了主街。53尺的大车没法调头，只得一路向前开。没多久，一台K9跟在我后面，再一会他的灯亮了。我只好路边停车。他向我要了驾照，回到车里，20分钟后他回来，让我在罚单上签字，我一看，天那！707元罚单，真的好大。心中那个闷，无以形容。和阿SR，说了很久都没法商量。只好在单上签了字。
警察满意的想离开，我心情很坏，反正也签字了，所以我就对他说，我很尊敬他，但他的做法不公平！他问我为什么？
我说，我是努力工作的穷人，我没有钱，以前被黑人抢劫，因为钱包里没有钱，也就损失不到百元，但这次他抢劫了我，因此我的孩子们这个月只能喝牛奶，吃麦片过日子了。他说是政府收的钱，不是他，我说，是他写的，所以我的孩子们这个月还是要饿肚子。但我还是要谢谢他！说完我说谢谢他然后回到车上，开车离开。
不想开出去没多远，他又在我后边闪灯，然后要我跟着他的车，我跟着他的车在小镇中转来转去，很快来到我要提货的食品厂门口。然后他要我下车。他很严肃的说，我不是故意开进小镇的，可以原谅。不过下次一定重罚，----！！！
最后竟然要我把黄单还给他。 我都不相信自己的听力了。结果真是如此。好以外竟然可以将黄单还回去！！
真是感谢上帝，遇到了一个有同情心的K9。这次的经历，真的对美国警察有了另外一种认识。
