30 minutes weekday dinner (1)

Another busy day at work. What's for dinner? This is the question I ask myself almost everyday on the way home. Sometime, I just directed the question to my husband when I have nothing in mind. Of course, going out is easy solution. Then we start to struggle what sounds good. Weather is changing. Our vegetable garden is almost reaching the end of the season for this year. So, looked around, picked few scallop squash, peppers and few cherry tomatoes. This is for dinner: Campanelle with sausage and scallop squash.

From our garden:






Sautee the onions. Season with fresh grounded black peppers. In the meantime, cook the Campanelle in the boiled water. Make sure add some salt in the water. You can see another pot is heating next my sautee pan.






Add sausage:





Add scallop squash, peppers, and tomatoes. Season with sea salt, basil and other Italian herbs.





Mix in Campanelle, sprinkle parmesan cheese and ready for dinner:









Of course with buttered homemade dinner rolls.



Here is the dessert: Mooncakes.
Made quiet few in August. They were kept in our freezer. 随时可以解冻。保持原有的味道。
