佛得角发生特大凶杀案，8名士兵3名平民在军营内遭枪杀！

佛得角首都北部一座军营内，8名士兵3名平民被发现遭枪击身亡。其中两人为西班牙国籍，进行维修工作。其余为佛得角人。据信凶手为一名前士兵。佛得角长期和从南美向欧洲走私毒品的犯罪团伙进行斗争，但不清楚此次事件是否和贩毒有关。目前岛上机场和港口处于高度警戒。内阁已经召开紧急会议。另外在案发现场附近发现了一辆装有8支突击步枪的小汽车。

Eight soldiers and three civilians were found shot dead at the Monte Txota military barracks on Santiago island, Cape Verde.

Cape Verde's government said it believed a former soldier was behind the attacks.

Two of the dead civilians are believed to have been Spanish nationals working on repairs at the centre.

The remaining nine people were all Cape Verdean.

Security forces have been put on high alert at Praia airport, as well as at the island's ports, and an emergency Cabinet meeting has been called.

The bodies were found at around noon local time at the barracks to the north of the country's capital.

Police also found a car with eight assault rifles in a nearby car.

Cape Verde has been fighting a battle against gangs smuggling cocaine from South America to Europe, but it is not yet known if these shootings were drug related.
