To worship you in this tender light of night

                             unwind what has faded away in heart’s tangle

        Touch your smooth lake of longing, taste the soft

       flame in your disturbed dream

Sweet is the darkness behind joy’s eyelids

                                       Each note has a sex of its own giving birth to a new song

I kiss the delicate flower of grief, saying: 

                                       How lucky you are to possess the senses of an angel!
