Marengo Cave地下洞穴 标准的三羊胡子

Marengo Cave 地下洞穴，比不上国内那些有名的洞穴，不过在美国也是几部电影拍摄的场地。去了趟也增加了不少有关洞穴的知识，这里有不少的活动一家人都可以参与。想轻松点的就跟着导游走洞穴的两个线路，两个地方景色不一样。想冒险要刺激的，那就去爬洞穴，体验探险者的经历，小孩可以淘宝石，喜欢水的可以去划船，总之这里是个休闲的去处，都说美中比较枯燥，那么在枯燥的印州这个地方还是吸引了不少人前去。点击视频跟我走一趟这个地下洞穴。



还去了个马厩，说是可以骑马，但那天马儿羊儿休息，失望之下，主人还是让我参观了马厩，看了马和羊。马儿都屁股对着我，主人特意牵了一匹出来让我拍了个正面合影。羊可是很好玩，一走近就钻出脑袋来，还要站的高高的好像是女人穿了高跟鞋那样。它们是山羊吗？那胡子象是山羊的，可这里是平原啊。



附上洞穴的部分解说词。这些洞穴英文都有专用词，中文我只知道钟乳石。不知道有没有对应的专用词，也许大家可以告诉我。

。。。Helictites are small, twisted formations that project from cave ceilings, walls, and even the floor. They grow erratically and defy the laws of gravity。

。。。Draperies are when water entering a cave flows down a sloping ceiling, it deposits calcite in thin, translucent sheets that hang in delicate folds like draperies. Minerals provide color.

。。。Rimstone dams are formed as water flows over an edge, calcite deposits around the edge of the dam.
