Rainbow Moment

The weather certainly has its own wacky way. Yesterday it was scorching hot and humid. Today it changes all its temper with a 180 degree turn. By giving up any thought to go out to fight with the pouring rain, I tuck myself in bed watching crying windows with rain streaming down by gravity; hearing wind whistling to torture the power lines outside. The sky is pitching black as if some amateur painter forgets to mix some light colors. Trees are twisting their branches crazily, totally ignoring the grace and dignity. A tornado warning is beeping across TV screen. The news brings you the images of nature violence. At this right moment, I thought if there will be a rainbow somewhere after this severe storm. It should be and it must be.

A feeling shoots across my mind. In real life, we may have a moment of emotional turmoil like this storm. We may have a moment to struggle to find a way to be lucky, wealthy, and healthy which leads to all happiness. Emotions, feelings and sickness can all take us down to the depth of the abyss of hopelessness. Can we hold the same firm belief that everything will turn out to be ok afterwards? Can we also imagine a rainbow will arch across our mind with all the colors of the spectrum someday sometimes?
