今日是Wong Kim Ark Day

119年前的今日,美国最高法院作出了一项历史性决定--由华人Wong Kim Ark (黄金德)作为原告的案例获胜.确认美国宪法第14修正案适用于非公民外籍人士的权益.从此在美国出生的孩子都自动有公民权,无论其父母是什么移民身份.此案的重要性不言而喻,让千万人受益,在美国的亚裔二代基本上都是其受惠者.旧金山市在此案100周年时,特地命名每年此日为Wong Kim Ark Day, 作为永久性纪念.

当年反对奥巴马的以他出生为借口的,既是在法庭上败于此案之决定,无法阻止他参加初选,大选和上任.

今日川政权里,其骨干们匀坚决反对第14修正案.司法部长Sessions多年来一直要推翻此条例,他影响力深厚.Bannon,Miller都是忠实信奉者.

华人川粉父母们,本城内外猖獗.如其孩子出生时父母均不是公民的话,按本政权核心意思,都不算公民.他们不妨先开先河,自动放弃自家孩子们的公民权,以表示其支持川政权决心之彻底.
