［成功典范］Way to go, Bill! (图)

William Shatner gained his fame for playing Captain Kirk of Star Trek from 1966 to 1969 and in seven of the susequent movies. He claims that he also can sing and dance, but actually, he is not good at either one of them.

Unlike many actors who would fade away simply as their talents are no longer needed, William Shatner changed his way of performing and has become one of the hottest actors nowdays. He is not that funny, but he is willing to be laughed at. He hangs out with young people and makes fun of himself. He started out as the funny spokesperson of TV commercials for Priceline, then appeared in Boston Legal and The Practice, both have brought him Emmy Awards.

Gradually, people start appreciating his acts of "laughing at myself", and he got more serious roles in TV dramas because of that. Despite that most people still think he is a bad actor, he got what he wanted, and people love him. He will never win an Oscar, but who needs that anyway if you are a reborn TV icon.

At age of 76, William Shatner is hotter than ever.

Keep it up if you want to survive. You can always laugh at yourself.
