剧情简介

　　南北战火未息，军法处的邢宁国（姚刚饰）此时正处在他政治生涯的重大危机中，因绞杀革命党行动甚嚣尘上，全国上下人人自危，动荡局势之下他在军法处的职位可能不保。有人送来密报，告发程子凡是革命党的信报员，他顿时兴奋异常，决心查办到底。 　　程子凡（焦恩俊饰）与关美英（陈德容饰）大婚之日被军法处缉捕，投入大牢。被严刑拷打受尽凌辱之后，被关进了一处暗无天日的秘密监狱，地上是一片死尸。一个神秘老人通过地道进入了程子凡的牢房在危机关头拯救了他的性命，重新燃起了生的希望。两人相约一起挖地道逃出监狱因此结下深厚的感情，并将毕生所学传授给程子凡。地道坍塌老人被埋，托付给凡一个惊天的秘密和大汉奸汪直的财富藏宝图。 　　逃出监狱后，此时北平的一切已物是人非，长期战争房屋已被战火冲洗得破旧不堪，由金庆生、佟二全（姚卓君饰）、刑宁国三股军阀势力暗地勾结，血腥残酷地出卖国家利益。程子凡化身英国归来的古爵士，重新进入了上层社会，之后把矛头一个个指向恶人金、佟、刑三人，在一连串的计谋中，金庆生、刑宁国事情败露，逃亡时金命丧土匪之手，刑也锒铛入狱。在苏贤方的革命进步思想引导下，子凡将所有宝藏用到革命事业当中，继续投奔解放革命事业……
