色戒余波02: Right or wrong? People are Arguing, seems no end.

Language speaking, An lee shocked the world, in 2006 with “Broke Back Mountain”, but in 2007, he left all of us in big puzzle with an sensational, hot, and arguable ‘Hollywood-rebel’  in Mandarin. Tackled a never-end topic in the past, now or even in the future. Artist asks themselves deeply into their mind, but also to us, if his work is right or wrong.  

If we click any one of the search engines, even in Mandarin only, guess what?< totally 1,4100 recorded posts or articles, comments and articles available within a second. Comments run wild from positive to negative by large. “What does that new movie want? An lee, the Son of bxxx, a traitor !” said angrily, a daughter 67, of highest General of the resistant army died during the World War Two in China.  

But still there are quite number of viewers enjoyed the movie.  “I felt like I was taking a hot bath,” one girl said after watching the movie; people are eager to see how An lee interprets the ‘climax’ in and out of the bed，which once a ‘Taboo’ and normally should be ‘fade-out’ or ‘cut-off’ to suit and purify the entertainment of watching a movie.  

“That’s too much, and ridiculous …” some people worried, and call there are too much ‘Sexual scenes’ and too ‘adultery’ for young people; on the other hand, many appraised his excellent job done to challenge, in an artistic point of view, the limitation of how motion pictures can depict ‘sex-life’ –the sexuality side of human behavior without losing too much of the aesthetic tastes; not mentioning the ‘love’ was so uniquely set back ( or chosen ) in old shanghai back in late 30’s.  

Big Whys, and questions left. The gap between right and wrong is so huge.  The arguing seems never end. Some enthusiastic movie lovers even go extreme as to dig to prove if they really ‘did it’ or not. I was confused too. When I was searching the internet, I felt the strong vibrancy of this movie had brought to the people, and surprised to see comments varied either like or dislike it. But one thing I thoughte was true, if a movie arose no interests of people, or no one argues about it, mostly it could be bored to watch.
