《婚后五年》讲述的是一个挽救婚姻危机的故事。罗钢在其中饰演事业平步青云，但却饱受富家千金妻子的无理猜疑和纠缠，最终爱上了善良的舞蹈老师，舞蹈老师却为救自己的妻子意外离世……
不少观众反映《婚后五年》虽然是婚姻情感剧，却可与偶像剧相媲美，罗钢在其中的表现非常具有男人魅力、很有中年偶像的气质。特别是该剧的结尾走向悲剧，更让人对他心生怜惜。虽然罗钢、陈虹池、周悦并不是很有名气的大腕演员，但他们在剧中的精彩表现却恰恰说明了他们是最合适的演员。也许明星更容易让人感觉是在演戏，而他们则让观众看到是在做自己。
