早听说Santa Barbara附近有一丹麦城，一直没机会去，这次从Morro Bay回来的路上，顺道去了丹麦城 - solvang。在一号公路上，到处有引导去Solvang的标志，想错过也挺不容易的。 :-)
我们在那里转了一个下午，到处走走，这里是典型的旅游城市，市区里充斥着礼品店和餐馆；孩子们兴奋地逛着，挑选纪念品，我对这些小玩艺儿不感兴趣，就在外面边等边照相。。。。这世道好像有所变化，我已经开始等shopping的孩子了。在一家面包店，我们买了一些面包，咖啡，歇息了一下，结账时，发现就这几个面包花了我近40美刀。。。。够有欧洲的味道的呀！呵呵！

The population was 5,332 at the 2000 census.Solvang means "Sunny Field" in Danish. It was founded in 1911 on 9,000 acres (36 km²) of formerly Spanish land by a group of Danish educators. The settlers of this city left for the west to escape midwestern winters. The city is home to some bakeries, restaurants, and merchants offering a taste of Denmark in California. But the architecture of many of the buildings follows traditional German styles. There is a copy of the famous Little Mermaid statue from Copenhagen, as well as one featuring the bust of famed Danish fable writer Hans Christian Andersen.

(2) 巨大的鞋子，我站在里面照了一张，哈哈，有意思。
(3) 一商店的店面。
(4) 这里的风车最大。我们进的那家面包点就在这附近。
(5) 招牌
(6) 蓝天里，风车下，该有一些浪漫的童话故事；可现实中，the prince and the princess had a happy life ever after这样的大圆满已经不复存在。。。。。我在这里煲电话粥，尽是一些烦人的琐事。。。。大小领导对我非常不满，侧目以对。
(7) 很喜欢这里的房子，有童话的味道。
(8) 这些木屐真cute.
(9) 这家店， 我们呆得最久。当然也花了银子为代价， 哈哈！ 店主非常和善，我经过她的同意后，在这里任意拍照。
(10) 多有趣的牛们。
(11) 曾有朋友从德国来，送我们一个这样的Cuckoo Clock，我们一直收着没用；后来买房子，想这钟挺cute，拿出来时，发现已经不工作了，还惋惜了半天。。。。。这质量也有待商榷 :-D
(12) 这鹅卵石小头实在可爱。。。。看人家这创意。
来LA玩的朋友，如果有时间，可以考虑来这个有欧洲风味的小城。。。。绝对值得消耗午后时光。
