CentralGarden位于卡尔加里的8thStreetSW夹8thAveSW之间(8夹8吉祥的数字),与轻铁站相临.主要由一组人造水塘与瀑布组成,是市中心散心休息的好地方,特别是每天中午餐间隙时间,更是热闹.牛仔节时(STAMPEDE)这里也有些文娱表演.CentralGarden里也有三个雕塑,满有特色.

卡尔加里在北美是个很年轻的城市,开埠100余年,受益于卡大艺术戏及ACAD(AlbertaCollegeofArtandDesign),卡城的艺术画廊(Gallery)和工作室(Studio),已及公共艺术作品,无论是在数量和水平上,在加拿大各城市中都名列前矛.卡城的街头雕塑的基本上是现代派风格,东西方向主要集中在8thAve/StephenAve/市政府大楼一带,南北方向主要集中在4thStreet,SW及CentralStreet,ChinaTown附近.4thStreet,SW是卡城一条著名的[阅读全文]
