《我是歌手》第九期林志炫唱的那首 Air Supply 名曲
《我是歌手》是湖南卫视的一台综艺节目，请了几位成名的歌手来比赛。这些已经久经沙场的歌手们现场比赛自然与那些新秀选拔节目不同。歌手们不仅要展现自己独特而又有实力的嗓音，更要表现个人音乐素养，比如在编曲，创新，临场，表现力等方面的综合能力。敢来上这个节目的都是有胆有识有自信的，在我看来都是好样的。 昨晚看了第九期节目，有一件小事让我“夜不能寐”。让我夜里数星星的事儿其实有的真是芝麻绿豆大的小事，挺没劲的。可是没办法，脑子里就是转着这个，不说出来不能安。 话说林志炫唱了一首澳洲著名乐队 Air Supply （空气补给）八十年代的名曲，高音连续递进，极具挑战性。林同学唱得可以说相当不错，让人由衷地欣赏佩服。要命的是，看着林的演唱，屏幕上打着中英文歌词，我就对词歌最关键一句的翻译有些不解。这一句也是歌的名字《 Making Love Out of Nothing At All 》，中文译为《让爱一切成空》。 我的小脑袋琢磨了一晚上，歌词看了一遍一遍，也没明白怎么这句“ out of nothing at all ”就成了“一切成空”。在我看来，这个意思恰恰是有些反了。 Make something A out of something B, 是说用 B 来做成 A 。所以“ Making love out of nothing at all”, 它似乎应该是说那份爱是凭空而来的，没有太多理由的，凭空而生的。整首歌我理解的大意是，“我”在生活中是个强者，似乎对一切都了如指掌，明白所有的游戏规则，感情上亦是掌握得恰到好处，游刃有余，收放自如。可是“我”却遇到了“你”，我为你迷失，在你面前我无能为力，我愿意彻底臣服，只换取与你相守。我无法理解这样无法控制的爱，毫无缘由，不知从何而来。 当然，这是我个人浅见，若那位高人可以指点迷津，将不胜感激。 Making Love Out of Nothing at All ( 任爱凭空而生 ) By Jim Steinman First released by Air Supply 1983 I know just how to whisper 我知道如何轻声耳语
