Kanye 对历史的看法。提出一个问题，我们每个人上学，都上过“历史课”，但是都没有上过“未来课”，需要那么多历史吗？难道生活仅仅是对过去的模仿（simulation)吗？这让人想起中国的宫廷剧思维，中国文化好像已经形成了一个“模子”，任何一个人，都是以前的模子倒出来的一个样品，没有灵魂，不是一个活的人。提起林彪，就想起韩信，等等。

Elon Musk 也有自己原创的驱动力，每天都必须有值得让我们起床的事情，生活不应该仅仅是解决困难，而应该是主动的探索和启示。

实际上他们的生活让人这提出一个根本问题：到底什么是活着，活着到底是什么意思？当你摆脱历史，直面当下的时候，生活到底是什么？

前不见古人，后不见来者，念天地之悠悠，必然要“怆然而涕下”吗？

无根而活着，是需要勇气的，吗？

人的根本在于自由意志，自由意志的根本就是有“自己 最深的 目的”。

• In terms of motivation, there needs to be things to get up in the morning.
• life can't just be about solving problems, otherwise, what's the point?
• there's got to be things that people find inspiring, things that make life worth living.
